Windows Scripting Host

Good evening

A news item on a new phishing scam suggests that if the computer user
deactivates Windows scripting host programme on the PC, they run less of
a risk of falling prey to the scam.

Does this make sense? If so how would I go about it please?

You create a Policy to forbid scripts that are not 'signed' by your
certificate.
