I receive this message at windows desktop opening every time I boot the
computer.
"One of the files containing the System Registry data had to be recovered by
use of a Log or alternate copy. The recovery was successful."

Does anyone have any ideas how to correct this message?

Have you been experiencing any problems shutting down the computer
properly? The registry is written back to the hard drive (from RAM) as
part of the normal shut down process. Something seems to be interfering
with this. It could be even be caused by defective RAM or hard drive.
You need to determine the cause of your registry corruption problem. A

This error message appears from the XP Windows installation point and never
stops. After I click on "OK" everything seems to be fime.
