hi..i had windows me b4..now i installed windows xp...whnever im online..i keep getting the message box..saying "shutdown initiated by NT AUTHORITY/SYSTEM... and remote procedure call service terminated..

so plz...if any one can help me with this problem.....ill be very thankfu

Hi Desy,

When the shutdown warning appears, click start/run and enter "shutdown -a"
to halt the process. It's a virus called blaster or lovesan. Information:

You need the patch described here to protect against it:

Programs

Problem is, you needed to install the patch BEFORE you got infected to avoid
it.
