Windows PowerShell 1.0

Hi: Today I noticed a new program called Windows Powershell 1.0 had installed
on my PC. I cannot uninstall it from "Add or Remove Programs" because it's
not shown there. Neither is it shown in "Windows Installer Cleanup". Is it
possible to remove this program and if so, how? I appreciate any advise.

Yes, it is listed in Add/Remove Programs applet - if you enable the option
to show updates. Then look under "Windows XP" since this is an update to
it. Look for "Windows Power Shell" (there might be a 2nd one for the MUI
pack).


It installed because you allowed ALL updates to install that were presented
in a Custom list at the Windows Update site, or you decided to blindly
install all updates by using the Express method.
