Windows Picture Viewer for Windows Vista

I am having problems using Windows Picture Viewer to open attachments in
Outlook 2007 (Tiff and JPG) At one time this did work, for a unknown reason
it has stopped working. I can still open files outside of outlook using the
viewer. Can I reinstall the program back in to Windows? How can I get this to
work again? I am using Windows Vista Business 64 bit for the OS together with
Office 2007 Enterprise. All of the drivers have been updated and all
Microsoft updates are installed.

Sounds like you need to associate file types. Also it's now called Windows
Photo Gallery btw.

Start/Orb, Default Programs, Associate a file...

Isn't Windows Picture Viewer still part of the Office suite?

No this is done, TIF and JPG are setup by default. I have also made sure that
the file association is set correctly this has been verified.

No, Windows Vista Picture Viewer replaced Windows Fax and Photo viewer from
Windows XP. I need to reinstall or fix this program.

Suggest you ask in the Office community newsgroups as well as here (I'm
running out of ideas as I don't have Outlook installed....)
