Windows no longer sees my printer

Hi,
Suddenly, Windows is no longer seeing my printer which is attached to it by
USB. I reinstalled the drivers and that didn't fix it. I got an error
saying the interface isn't registered. and this line:
res://C:\WINDOWS\System32\shdoclc.dll/preview.dlg

How do I fix it?
