I there people

Sorry about my english, but I think that my English is better than your Portuguese

First of all.. Come visit Portugal! It is a spectacular country, with wellcoming people! It is just beautifull
OK I won 300 EUR: THANK YOU Portuguese Ministery for Tourism! Just kidding.. Really, come visit us

Now.
About all those Linux users I think you guys are all LOSERS! First off all Linux doesn't have an half of Windows hardware support... (an half.. LOL); Second: Linux is based in Windows XP interface (icons, start menu, windows, etc etc); and more other things, is there Linux in many languages? no! is there a Linux support? n
You call that SO reliable and thrustfull, the only reason that Linux doesn't have virus or other things it is due to its useless! Nobody cares

I think Windows is a great SO, I just love it! THANK YOU MS.
But in another way I think that power is dominating the mind on MS.. First of all Microsoft eliminates all the sources of new ideas, and I think I don't even need to say anything more.
First off all the prices Microsoft sells it's products is just unbelivable! WinXP pro = 50 EUR?
I think that if Microsoft made is products less expensive it would reduce much of the pirate Windows PCs and have more licenced SOs in everybody's home.
Sincerily I don't know anyone who has bought his Windows

Well that's all, thank you for your time
Greetings from Portugal

I use Linux (granted not as much as Windows), I would not consider myself a
"loser". Linux is not based on the Windows XP interface, Linux itself has
no graphical user interface.

Windows was hardly original there were already several GUI's for operating
system available when Microsoft launched Windows. Personally I found RISC
OS to be the best for a long while.

Linux is in as many languages as it's users translate it into. But a lot of
the Linux community regard English as "the" language. Torvolds is Finnish,
but he wouldn't even dream of using anything but English when commenting his
code etc.
You call that SO reliable and thrustfull, the only reason that Linux
doesn't have virus or other things it is due to its useless! Nobody cares!

The Linux kernel is very reliable, the second you put a GUI on it, and all
the bloatware that people package them with, then you have problems lol,
Linux with a GUI (KDE or Gnome is very unstable IME).
I think Windows is a great SO, I just love it! THANK YOU MS..

Windows XP certainly is the best consumer desktop OS in my mind.

The last time I looked Windows XP Pro was a lot more then 50 ?uros, I think
I paid ?170ish for the upgrade edition when it was released.

Personally yes I'd like to see much cheaper prices (but then wouldn't we
all). The amount of labour-power that goes into developing an OS is
enormous, and the bad part about software development is the product has to
be finished before you can sell it, so you have to pay for X number of
people's salaries for X number of years, before getting anything back, risky
business.

Microsoft doesn't element new "ideas", the whole monopoly in my opinion is
extremely over-rated. Everyone's free to use another OS if they so choose.
All the stuff about bundling media player etc, is pure nonsense, I have no
object to having extra free and very good quality software bundled with
Windows. It saves me having to buy inferior products like Real Player and
Quicktime.

And yes they are inferior products.

No offense intended, your comments on Windows will no doubt
start some comments about the good, bad and ugly.

I just remembered that Portugal was a major supplier of
cork. Have a nice day!

chamo-a uniforme. Que você pensa?

Being a linux user, I can't say I think the same of you. :)

First

True, linux does not have as much hardware support I don't think as windows, but I still personally feel it is a much better OS though for many reasons.

Second: Linux is based in Windows XP interface
:: (icons, start menu, windows, etc etc);

1 question, which flavor of linux are you referring to? I hate the teletubbie interface of windows xp and therefore do everything I can to avoid it. I have not seen any linux os that looks like that yet.

If you follow the above link, I think you will find that there is little to no problem for you to find linux in your language.

When comparing a music CD playback in RealOne Player versus Windows Media
Player, I found RealOne had better sound quality. Actually, I tried various
types of music CDs, the RealOne Player had much better sound (much more
depth and richness) than Media Player. I not saying Microsoft should not
bundle Media Player in Windows, I'm just saying that RealOne had better
playback quality.

Do others out there agree? Have you pop in a music CD, then say, play the
first 15 seconds in Media Player, close the app, then launch RealOne and
play the 15 seconds?

Did you notice RealOne has more depth, more richness in the bass, more crisp
in treble, etc?

<snipped>

It is whatever you prefer :-). I disagree since WMP let's me have more control over the sounds (ie, graphic equalizer, etc) than real Player, and it is free, whereas to get that from Real, you have to pay a fee for it (I think $19.95). Then when a newer version comes out, you have to pay for it again.

There is not one grain of truth you've said about Linux. You are either
terribly mis-informed or an outright fool.
