The brightness bar in windows mobility center doesnt increase or decrease
the brightness of Lenovo 3000 N100 series laptop. What can be done?

Usually laptops will have a extra application provided by the display
adaptor manufacturer to control display settings. Maybe you need to use
that.

Not sure why you can't control it via Vista though...

I have the latest driver for Intel 945GM, but still the brightness control
on the mobility center doesnt work. :-(

I have the latest driver for Mobile Intel 945GM.
The Windows Mobile Center's brightness is buggy and doesn't work.

I meant check out the support options there.

I have sent them mails before 2 days but no answer.
Vista already includes the drivers for 945GM by default and aero is
automatically enabled after a clean install without the driver from intel.
So I think it is a Vista issue.

I am saying about the Mobility Center that is in Control Panel.
