Hey, I keep getting messenger messages saying that my registry is
error-ridden and shows sites to go to fix such as regfix32.com and
regfix.com or something along those lines. Im assuming its just a scam
because I just reinstalled windows and havent shut off the messenger
service.. would anyone be able to clarify?

The message boxes that you're seeing are bogus. They're for the purpose of
selling you software you don't need. If you let them accumulate, they'll
hang your machine and you'll have to reboot. To prevent them from
appearring, try installing SP2. I had SP1 on my machine, but not SP2, and I
was having the same problem. I haven't seen a single message since I did the
SP2 install.
