What seems to be the problem with it?

I'll do my best. First, without intending to messenger goes into a file
transfer dialogue and it cannot be cancelled or gotten out of without
rebooting. Secondly, After clicking on a name to start an instant message
the windows somehow seem to be getting in the way of each other,
possiblylike cascading. The instant message cannot be carried on without
first minimizing all windows and then bringing back up the message window.
Thirdly, any time messenger is open it seems to interfere with simply normal
reading in other folders. Thanks for any help with a repair.
