Windows Messenger refuse to start

Solvent

On Windows XP after I`ve installed (and reinstalled) the
Windows Messenger, I can`t start it at all...
In the Event Viewer - Application, I can see an event:
Source: (MSN/Windows) Messenger
Category: None
Event ID: 4
Description:
The description for Event ID ( 4 ) in Source (
(MSN/Windows) Messenger Service ) cannot be found. The
local computer may not have the necessary registry
information or message DLL files to display messages from
a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE=
flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support
for details. The following information is part of the
event: .

Any ideas?
Thanks for your time and help!

Greetings Solvent,

Download and run these .reg files in the affected account:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/downloads/enablewindowsmessenger_user.reg
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/downloads/enablemessenger.reg
After running these, reboot and then try opening Windows Messenger again.
