I want to enable my users to use microsoft windows
messanger internaly only. Does anybody know of a way that
this can be done? Or if it is possable at all?
Thanks,
Matthew McNamara

Greetings Matthew,

If you mean, 'internally' as in an Exchange server, you can do the following:
See here:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;264472

More specifically the "ExchangeConn" connection.

However, if your users are connecting to the public .NET Messenger network to communicate,
there is no way of stopping them from not communicating with people outside the company.

This is done on the local machines, right? and then what
has to be done on the server side to get this running with
exchange ?
thanks again
Matthew
