Windows media player

I recently reinstalled XP. I have just gotten around to
putting all my video's back on my computer. When I tried
playing them today on WMP I noticed a couple of things
were wrong.

Some of the video's just show a black screen but the audio
is still working.

Also some of the video's do work but there looks to be a
ghosting in the top left corner.

Just say I'm playing a music video. Whatever video is
playing there is also what seems to be a small box in the
left corner playing the same video on the screen. This
happens for all the files....mpeg, avi, etc.

This only happenes using WMP. If I try using a different
viewer it works alright.

Does anyone have any ideas about what is going on??

Update video driver with a correct/updated version from the
manufacturers web site.
