Windows Media Player 9 advise please...

In Media Player, Tools,Options,Security tab there are 2 check boxes
regarding scripts, they are both unchecked now is that normal? On
the Network tab streaming proxy settings on the http configure
setting should: use proxy settings of the browser be checked ?
Mine is.
 
Your current settings are default settings and are normal. To change any
of the settings would be customizing.
