Windows Media player 11

I need to roll back from WM 11 to WM 10
I have been onto Control Panel and rolled back and a message appears "Roll
back is successful". I then tried to change/remove the Runtime as well but it
says that Windows media player 11 needs to be removed (which i thought i just
did). I then click on WM player icon but nothing happens. The new version
doesn'l load nor does version 10

I have done but during setup , it says "there is a new version of WMP
running" even though i checked running processes and wmplayer isn't there, so
i need to completely get rid of WM 11

Ok sorry about that WMP 11 is a little harder to remove than I thought. I
found an article that walks you through step by step. Now I know you've said
that you tried to remove the runtime and it gave you an error maybe the
folder in program files contains some WMP 11 remnances. Here is the complete
removal instructions site. You may need to reinstall WMP 11 and restart the
roll back again. I would try that.

Good Luck let us know what happens.

I guess you'll think twice before installing BETA software again ...
