Windows Media Player 11 Freezes on Execution

Media Player 11 was working fine earlier this morning. All of a sudden it
stopped working and now just freezes after I click on the icon on the
desktop. It opens but all information is blank. In the task manager it says
it is running and not "Not Responding". I cannot click any of the buttons or
icons in Windows Media Player. Any help?

I'm having the same problem, but also with Media Center. Window pops up,
then fails to respond. Please help!
 
Same here, but with Media center as well. I expect that a few of my programs
wouldn't work with an all new OS, but MP11? Please help, I dig the rest of
this OS, but this is a bit of a disappointment. It's MS's own design for
cryin' out loud!
