It seems at the CFTO website WMP won't play any of video news stories. I am
able to play other WMP vidieos at other websites. Plus I am able to view
these videos on a different computer using WMP.
This is the problem I am getting..
When I go to this page http://www.ctv.ca/news
Click on any of the news videos - A window will open with Windows Media
Player in it..
The player goes through three stages
1 opening media
2 connecting to media
3 ready.
If I click play, this same process repeats with the video never playing..
Any suggestions?
I'm running Windows XP Home, I have the SP2 updates, Internet Explorer 6 and
Firefox 1.0 - I have the same problem with both IE and Firefox.
Things I've tried so far is uninstalling WMP, rolling back to a later
version and then reinstalled it.
