when I set up my new computer i apparently entered the wrong information as I
am now getting the following message:

the host 'POP3' count not be found. Please verify that you have entered the
server correctly.
Account 'POP3', Server POP3, Protocol:POP3,Port110,Sercure(SLL):No,Socket
Error:11001, Error Number Ox800CC0D

How do I correct this problem. I can't figure it out as I am not computer
technical.

Thanks

Check that the mail server details for your e-mail account are correct. It
looks like you may have put in just 'POP3' whereas a typical incoming
mailserver address would be something like pop3.mail.btinternet. Similarly
the outgoing mail server might be called 'smtp.mail.btinternet.'
Hope this helps,
Littim

Your email account provider should have a help page on their website with
the correct server names and settings.
Some even have tutorials. If they don't have one for Windows Mail, use the
one for Outlook Express.

Or, if you tell us who provides your email account, perhaps someone can
help.
