How exactly are you trying to send an attachment form Microsoft Word to your email? Detail the Steps you use.
What, if any, error message do your get?
What version of Word are you using?
Can you start a new message in Windows Mail and then attach the document?

Close the document in Word first. Windows Mail won't attach an open file.
