Windows Mail

Farley

After I have been opening emails, and double-click to open an email - the
email comes up clear - the frame is there, but the email itself is
clear/empty. When I try to enlarge it - it will do the same thing or the
whole email will come up black. This will then happen to all of my emails
when I double-click to open them. I then have to shut down my computer and
restart it.

Any suggestions?

Windows Mail often behaves erratically when interfered with by
some antivirus programs. Windows Mail is not compatible with
most McAfee and Norton security programs. Those will need to
be uninstalled, not just disabled.

After uninstalling your non-compatible antivirus, download
and install a more compatible antivirus like the free Avast:

Even compatible antivirus programs will need to have their
email scanning option turned off. For more on this topic see
