Windows mail settings

I have several questions on Windows mail:

1. When opeing a mail message the window opens in "non full screen mode". I
must then click the enlarge button to get full screen. How can I force all
new opended windows in general to go automatic full screen?

2. When I am in a message and hit the delete button, I want it to take me
back to message list, not automaitcally to the next message. In outlook I
knew where to do this, with windows mail I am not able to.
