hi all,

can anyone tell me if it's possible to automatically save emails to a usb
stick instead of in the application folder on the hard drive?

I have looked under options/advanced/maintenance/storefolder. and it tells
me that windows mail is unable to write to the registry.

And yes i'm running vista

No. If you do that, then when the drive is not present it will screw up
WinMail and reset the message store. You can backup the messages instead
easily enough by just copying the relevant folders. See
www.oehelp.com/backup.aspx#wm and the section on WinMail.
