Windows Mail runs slowly if you have onlt 512 MB RAM

I'm not gone, just recovering from a failed attempt to
add more RAM memory to my computer. So far, it's
running again, but slowly, with only 512 MB of my
original memory; and Windows Mail is among the
programs that run noticeably slower.

I'll try to get more memory running before I do much
in this newsgroup again, though.

I now have all 2 GB of my new RAM working, but it's
late in the day to do much in this newsgroup.

My computer won't take more than 2 GB.

2GB RAM should be plenty for most people.
I have 2.5GB now, but can't tell much difference from
when I had 1.0GB.

1.0 GB is enough if you run mainly Windows Mail. I wanted enough
to also run distributed computing well in the background, which it
now does.
