I'm new here so if I don't do everything just right, forgive me.
:o)
Everytime I lot on to my windows mail I get a pop-up to fill in my email
address and password. I've filled them in several times and they are correct
but that darned thing pops up everytime! It's very annoying.
Has anoyone else had this problem? Any suggestions?
Thank so much

Go to the tools menu in WM, Accounts>select your account>properties>server
tab, ensure that the correct username and password are entered there.

Try to send and receive mail, if it asks for the detail again click cancel
this will generate an error message.

Select the entire error message and copy/paste it to your reply here.

Please also tell us who your ISP is, and give us the part of your email
address beyond the @ ONLY.

First of all before I forget, my ISP is sbcglobal.net

Mac I swear you must have fixed it. I did as you suggested and all is well
in accounts.
AND I went to my email to open an email so that I could copy the message and
would you believe it won't come up??? No matter what I do, the darned
message won't come up. I've even shut it down (the email only) and opened it
again....still no message.
I'll check back tomorrow and see if it comes up and then I'll send it to you.
lolol Thanks Mac.

Hi Gary,
My email settings are correct and as of today I have not had any more
pop-ups and I didn't do anything. I'm assuming it was just some sort of
glitch. I hope so! :o)
Thanks so much.

You did do something!
You entered your account credentials in the correct place, if ever that
security box ever shows its face again, click cancel, not ok, or that wipes
out your settings.
