Windows Mail not opening Outlook appointments I get in email

My coleague has Outlook and she receives all my calendar appoinments from my
Windows Mail (ver. 6.0) fine...they post right to her calendar. But when she
emails me one from her Outlook, the attachment fails to appear in the email,
and the text inside the email looks like this:
BEGIN:VCALENDAR
PRODID:-//Microsoft Corporation//Outlook 11.0 MIMEDIR//EN
VERSION:2.0
METHOD:REQUEST
BEGIN:VEVENT
(etc....long information...)

The basic problem is that Outlook, by default, uses a proprietary
form of encoding for attachments, which is not readable by
non-Outlook mail clients.
Ask the sender to resend using either plain text (preferred) or
standard HTML format. For more on this issue see:
