Windows mail is still being fixed?

Hi everybody!,
I have some questions.
1. Is the Microsoft team still fixing windows mail or not?
2. Are they joining forces in order to fix just the Windows Live Mail?
3. I personally prefer Windows Mail to Windows Live Mail, so, is there any
possibility of fixing the bugs concerning to my favourite e-mail client?
Maybe trhough the SP1 for Vista? Will it fix some of the problems?

They're devoting more effort to Windows Live Mail and the extra
cost email program, Outlook, than to Windows Mail.

The beta test versions of SP1 don't do much, if anything, to
Windows Mail.

I also prefer Windows Mail to Windows Live Mail. I have no idea what's
going to happen, though. I'm a mushroom.
