Windows Mail (Formerly OutLook) Outputting XHTML Wierdness?

I'm seeing my comments posted to a news group appear with XHTML <br />
elements as this snippet shows...

....and who would be responsible and how long do customers intend to <br

What the heck is causing this? I don't format what I write with carraige
returns I always resize the Window and let text I am typing flow...

why don't you set windows mail to post and read only in TEXT format...?

you can do this as so:

In the main windows mail window go to TOOLS on the menu toolbar , then
OPTIONS> and then to the SEND tab

select PLAIN TEXT in the NEWS SENDING FORMAT

please tell me if this solves your prob.
