windows mail and contact display in mail window

EWA ... contacts could be listed in a window under folders and used to open a
new message without going to the addressbook. Can this be done with Windows
Mail?
 
No. But you still don't have to go into the address book.
Just start the new message and click on To.
 
So then I am not able to do a single letter to add a address to the to list
for email. Such as; S for (e-mail address removed)?

So far all it does is do it after I put in the address and doubles it.
 
The auto-complete in Windows Mail just doesn't work correctly.
It keeps a separate list of the last 29 addresses you've typed in, including
bad ones. This list is kept in the registry (in binary).

This is one of the features that works properly in the newer Windows Live
Mail.
 
So does this mean that you cannot use single letters to enter an address in
the to of the Email? Also Can you add the CCC: to the mail below the CC:?
This thing is beginning to be a royal pain in the tail and I see no better
performance.
