You can't do it in Windows Mail. WM puts email from all accounts into one
Inbox. No Identities, no passwords, no privacy.
You can create Vista login accounts for each of you, and set up WM in each
account to only access that person's email.
The newer Windows Live Mail has separate Inboxes, etc. for each account,
but there's no privacy.

I'm new to Vista. How do I set up two completely separate and private
email
accounts for myself and my wife in Windows Mail? I keep seeing my own
mail
when I start WM.
You can use message rules to steer e-mail to separate folders, but this is a
convenience option. There is no security. Another thing you can do is to
shut off "remember password" in the accounts. This will prevent the files
from being downloaded but still will not provide security once they have
been downloaded. Other than logging onto separate Vista Windows, there's no
way to keep these separate. WLM is a little closer to what you might want.
