I have just installed Windows Live Messenger Started chatting to a few pals.
I wanted to get the shared folder working, but it says my computer does not
support Shared folders. What does this mean and how do i go about correcting
it.
many thanks.

I have the exact same problem. The thing is that, if we could do this very
intuitive setting (both the way you said, or trough Options/Sharing Folders)
then it would not say that "Your computer does not support Shaing folders")
Hope someone has an answer to this.

I'm using XP Home Ed, SP2, have third party firewall (Sygate) installed and
the built in windows firewall off.
