Hi, I just downloaded "Windows Live Mail" to see the differences between
that and regular Windows Mail. How do I get the toolbar buttons on top i.e.
"File, Edit, View, Favorites, Tools & Help". I thought it would have
downloaded but it didn't.

Click on the Show Menu icon that is just to the left of the Help icon
(a question mark), then select "Show all menus." This setting is sticky, and
will cause the File menu bar to always show. If you want to save some real
estate, you can get a one-shot view of that menu toolbar by pressing Alt.

Thanks, it worked. But guess what.. When I received a notification in my
Windows Mail that I had a reply to my question, I clicked on the link that is
suppose to take me to this page and it did NOTHING. It didn't take me
anywhere. So I had to get on the regular way of going thru the Help icon and
signing in and looking for my post. Any suggestions as to why that didn't
work??????

Start | Default Programs
Make sure Internet Explorer has all of its defaults.

Frank, Thanks. I'm thinking that since Windows Mail is a MS program that
goes through my ISP which is Verizon, that MS should recognize my Verizon
sign on. I don't even use MSN (I have to sign on with my old MSN email
address). What would have happened if I never had an MSN address? I still
would have a MS product and probably would never be able to access help
through communities. That doesn't seem right to me.... Thanks...

Start | Default Programs | Set your default programs
Select Internet Explorer.
If a line saying "This program has all its defaults" does not appear, click
"Set this program as default".

Hi Frank, Thanks for the lesson. I did that and my IE only had 8 out of 9
defaults so I clicked on "Set this program as default----". Thanks again.
