How can I configure windows mail to work with my windows live mail?

I have vista OS. I have heard that windows mail takes the place of outlook?
Is that right?
 
Your question is equivalent to asking, how can I get my Ford car to
work with my Chevrolet car?
The answer is, you can use both, or you can just use one, as you please.

Windows Mail is simply Vista's version of XP's Outlook Express.
