Windows Installer

Tried to install Symantec EndPoint Protection but it would not install cause
of some Windows Installer error (or Symantec EPP error masked as Windows
Installer error). Anyway, Symantec T/S had me uninstall Windows Installer to
get antivirus loaded. When tried to reinstall Windows Installer, I get err
msg telling me cannot install because Service Pack is more recent than
version trying to install. I'm trying to download/install Windows Installer
Redistributable 3.2.

Does anyone know how to get around this or fix it--I can't install anything
on this PC. Thanks in advance.
