windows installer starts up every time

Last night I turned on the fax services through the add/remove programs. It
did not work because I was not connected to a phone line - no big deal I was
just trying it out. So, I unclicked it.

Since then every time I start up or open a document (word, powerpoint) the
windows intaller starts to run, wants me to insert disc etc. I cancel out out
of it slowly and everything works fine.

How do I stop installer from triggering? I have triple checked that the fax
services box is not checked anymore. No Idea what feature it is trying to
load.

Hi,

It depends....

This generally happens, when Office has been installed on one profile. If
this is the case, see line 171 (right hand side) ignore the name:

If this isn't the case: Roxio, plays a part here as well as SpywareGuard.
More info here:

How can I determine the cause of the on-demand installation?"
