Windows Installer, Error 1706, Roxio Media Creator 8

"Error 1706.No valid source could be found for product Roxio Easy Media
Creator 8 Suite. The Windows Installer cannot continue. "

The software is installed and runs without any problem, but the above error
message appears multiple times at start-up / user loggin.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Remove Roxio 8.
Locate Windows Installer Cleanup tool.
Rremove all additional Roxio entries.
Reboot
Re-install Roxio 8 (or install Roxio 9.)
Do all.any updates for Roxio
