HELLO THERE, IVE NOT REAL COMPUTER SMART RIGHT NOW IM TRYING THOUGH BUT FOR THE LONGEST TIME IN MY ADD AND REMOVE PROGRAMS IT HAS AT BOTTOM WINDOWS HOTFIXES I WAS WONDERING IF I CAN REMOVE ALL THEM AND JUST WHAT ARE THEY THERE FOR AND WHAT DO THEY MEAN THEIR ALL NO# DIFFERENTLY ETC....THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME HOPE YOU CAN HELP ME SANDY

Hi Sandy.

First of all, please don't type your messages in all capital letters. It's
hard to read and on the Internet, it's considered "shouting."

To answer your question, you should leave those alone unless you are having
a specific problem that you believe is caused by one of those fixes. The
'hotfixes' come from the Windows Update site from Microsoft. Your computer
is probably configured to download and install these automatically. The
updates fix problems that are discovered with Windows after the product has
already been shipped.

Do not post using all caps! What is it with you anonymous@ people? Tell
all your anonymous friends to knock it off! Leave the Windows Hotfixes
alone! If they are uninstalled, that removes the updates you have applied
to your machine. That is a bad thing! One last thing, use a spell checker!
And pay attention to grammar, too.

http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=xxxxxx [Substitute the xxxxxx with the actual numbers. Don't include the "Q"]

Well, at least for most of mankind . . . ok, just a select few and that's my
last offer! Seriously, these anonymous ubiquitous poster people are
convinced that posting in all caps is just tons of good-time fun! They need
