Windows hangs on Start-up

I have had a recent problem where Windows (XP) starts up
then hangs before it completes. I see my desktop but not
my Office Toolbar. I switch the PC off using
CTR, ALT, Del function. Each time that has happened a
message has come up as it shuts down that programme
explorer.exe is not responding. Has anyone any ideas ???

Check if your computer has spyware. Visit the site www.lavasoft.com to download ad-aware and use it to check ur computer for trojans.

Then enable the firewall and keep your system upto date with the updates.
