windows gui showed between forms

Hi,
i am developing for both ce.net 4.1 and pocketpc2002.
If i load a form from a button in my application i experience different
behaviour between ce and ppc:
in ce the new form comes over the old one (and that's correct)... while in
ppc the windows gui appears a few moments between the two forms... i can't
get rid of this...
is there any workaround for this?

any help appreciated,

Are you sure you are not just hiding the form before
calling show for the new one?
