windows function buttons

Somehow I managed to make the windows blue title bar and
the 3 buttons on the right top side of each window small
and I can not make them normal size again. This is on
all applications, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc. The 3
buttons I am talking about are the minimize, maximize,
and close buttons. They are about half the regular
size. I was working with the Accessibility Wizard about
the same time this happened, so I executed something that
I did not mean to activate. I went back there and I
found nothing that will allow me to go back to the normal
setting. Can you help me please? Thank you. Bill

Thank you for the guidance but, this (F11) makes the
active window fill the entire screen. It does not make
the title bar or the 3 buttons change from small to
normal size.

Try F11. Might be the problem. Wayne B.

I got it!! I went to Control Panel - Display - Themes
Tab - changed it to Windows XP. When I hit "Apply" it
took the windows top part and made it normal size again,
thank goodness. I experimented while I was there and
noticed that what I had done was somehow managed to
change this setting to Windows Classic as that appears to
look like what I had. All seems OK for now and I thank
you for the help. Bill

Hi Bill,

Yes, this is a common issue with Accessibility. The workaround is to apply
the Windows XP Theme. Good luck!

Go to Control Panel - Display - Appearance and click Settings. In the
Item drop down choose Active Title bar; Inactive Title bar and Caption
buttons and increase the sizes - 20 or 24 pixels is a good start point.
Click Apply where offered, and adjust again as needed
