Windows Firewall Won't Start

Yea, I know. There ought to be a law against old men trying to use
computers. However, Dell, Microsoft and the like keep taking my money, so I
keep buying.

Need some help.

I have a Dell Inspiron 6000 notebook on a home wireless network. Running
Windows XP home edition with Service Pack 2 and Norton Internet Security 2005.

When I start up the notebook, Windows firewall is disabled and I have to
manually activate it each time. Since I’m an old guy, I sometimes forget to
do so.

Any suggestions on how I get Windows firewall to activate when I start the
notebook?

Norton Internet Security 2005 includes a firewall.
Therefore, you should not use the Windows Firewall.
