Windows Firewall Discrepancy

Hi,

Apologises is I have incorrectly posted to the wrong group.

When I select Control Panel > Windows Firewall, the General tab is shown as
the Firewall is switched OFF. When I select Control Panel > Security
Center, the Firewall is shown as ON. Any ideas why the discrepancy?

I have tried to change the setting in the Windows Firewall option to ON, but
the next time I put the computer back on, the setting has gone back to OFF.

Any help, greatly appreciated.
