I wanted to change a dll file located in the system32 folder of all my
workstations in my environment, this dll file is however protected by
windows and I don't think a simple script that copies the file would work..
does anyone have any idea?

You can deploy program or dll changes using MSI files. See install
shield to create MSI files.
