hey,
can someone help? i dunno if its possible but i would like to change
the folder that explorer launches with, ath the mo, it launches and u
can see my documeants, i have lkd around, but cannot find anythin, sz
if this is in wrong group but cant find one more specific!

Create or modify your existing shorcut to read:

%systemroot%\explorer.exe /e,/root,

This will cause Windows Explorer to open to the drive that XP is installed
on.

no, this isn't want i mean, this shows the new folder as my documents,
but i would like to have explorer open with either my documents
collapsed or a different folder expanded, say for example i wanted
drive F to be seen expanded when you first launch it, without it being
name my documents... is this possible?

Will open Explorer to the F:\ drive, with it selected and expanded.

explorer.exe /e,/root,F:\

Will open a two-paned Explorer Window, with the F: drive selected and
expanded and no other other drives listed in the left pane.
