I've had xp pro for a number of years and had no problems with it. i
recently had a hard drive crash and replace my computer. I now have Windows
XP media center edition 2002. When i try to drill down into my files using
Windows Explorer, the system locks up, or explorer crashes, or I get error
messages, after I'm in about 3 or 4 levels. I was in touch with Dell about
the problem, wound up reinstalling the operating system (yikes) and now I'm
having the same problem AGAIN. Any suggestions? This is making me crazy.
Thank you.

Sounds like faulty ram, download a programme called memtest86 and that
will perform a memory test.

Flamer.
