Unfortunately, MS has dropped the "File Types" dialog in Vista. See this
blog post (especially the Comments section) for more information:

To change the default icon for a file class, you may need to edit the
registry directly. Or you can use a third-party file type association tool

Thanks ...... found it, but what I really wanted to do was change the
"default icons" for several file types. When I went in there, I couldn't
find that option.
I know it sounds as little "dopey", but my sight's slightly impaired, and I
used that method in XP for seeing a bit easier.
