windows explorer shuts down

Every time i right-click anything in Windows explorer,a
file, a folder a drive, I get an error message that says
it has encountered an error and must shut down. Any
ideas on a fix would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Scan your system with latest virus definitioned antivirus/adaware/spybot
search and destroy.
Try:-
Start>Run>sfc /scannow>ok
