Windows Explorer Search Problem

N

Nick

Running XP Pro. Selecting a folder in Windows Explorer,
right clicking & selecting "Search..." produces the
critical error message "There was a problem sending the
command to the program". Selecting Search from the Button
Bar works OK. Any assistance would be appreciated in
restoring this or identifying the cause.

I don't have an answer for the problem, but rather than aiming for a button
with a mouse, hit F3 to bring up the search thing.

Doug - shortcut key crusader - mice are for cats
