Why does Search not open all of the text files and examine them when looking
for a given string? For example I have some Csharp files (cs types) in the
folder. However, when requesting search to find a string that I know is in
one of these .cs files, Search finishes in stating that no files have been
found. I have the Search property of not matching on case, and I know its
looking in the correct directory. Is there a registry entry that need sto be
changed ? Thanks.

See if the following KB article will help you out.
