Windows Explorer problem

I upgraded my Windows XP home system with the service pack 2
I have 5 users set up.
Noticed following day that when any one logs on then the default windows
explorer screen starts up without being selected.
I can change its position size etc on screen and even close its window.
Switch computer back on and windows explorer just starts up again.

Any suggetions ?

Uncheck option "Restore previous folder windows at logon" -Windows
Explorer, Tools, Folder Options, Views, Advanced Settings, Restore
previous folder windows at logon.

Thanks Gerry but no luck. Even tried turning the option on and off to see if
it would finally kick in.
Found another reply that gave instructions on editing the registry but when
I found the entry the bit that was to be deleted did not quite match mine so
I played safe and left it alone for now.
