I have a continuing problem with my computer which I cannot seem to solve and
it's not easy to describe clearly, so please bear with me.
Whenever I use Windows Explorer, I find that if I perform any actions (for
example, right click for the menu, clicking a menu-bar item, trying to
copy/delete) it will hang for about 10-20 seconds (sometimes longer) before
actually showing the menu / performing the action. The whole Windows Explorer
window will lock up during this time.
I've tried turning off tooltip effects, doesn't do anything. I'm using Win XP.
If anyone has any ideas what might be causing this please do help because I
am due for a BIG sort out of files of this is going to really get in the way
of doing it efficiently!
Cheers
